Best Eats in Luang Prabang

Yuni Yupoun

A relatively newly opened restaurant that specialises in one starter, main and dessert from nine different countries cuisines including Lebanese, Laotian, Creole and Indian. We opted for Greek sharing a delicious meze board.

Tangor Restaurant and Cafe

Indochinois bistro specialising in well crafted and authentic cuisine. Great for people watching from the top floor balconies.

Day & Night markets

Luang Prabangโ€™s main streets are a constant stream of market stalls selling local Lao food from dawn to dusk. Be sure to try the mini coconut rice balls or for the more daring amongst you, skewered rat!

Indigo Cafe

The best rooftop overlooking the night market and busy main street of Luang Prabang. Serving a mix of local and European classics, our favourite was the vegetarian burger.

Utopia

Arguably the best backpacker bar in Luang Prabang. Offering food and great cocktails overlooking the Nam Khan river. Itโ€™s a maze of recliner cushions, wooden tables and chill out zones to sit back and wind away the hours oh, and great pizza!
