Still revelling in the 2 night escape we enjoyed at this understated resort. Built into the cliffs that overlook Patong Beach, this immaculate hotel is worlds way from the party scene yet, Patong is in arms reach if you wish to experience all Phuket has to offer.

Imagine escaping to somewhere secluded, where deep blue skies and views extending over turquoise waters is all you can see. When you imagine an island paradise with all the comforts and indulgence of a super luxurious hotel then Amari Phuket is what you are imagining.

Checking into a one bedroom ocean view club room, our room-come-apartment felt like a home away from home. One where you could imaging spending weeks on end in the comfort and luxury of these expansive abodes. The club rooms offer complimentary access to the exclusive hilltop clubhouse that houses its own gym, infinity pool and daily free-flow hour just as the sunsets over the unrivalled panoramic ocean vistas. 

If you prefer to be close to the ocean, grab your snorkel gear and head to the pristine private jetty. Dive in and swim with the many colourful fish that call the coral reefs found here home. It is also the most spectacular place to see the skies turn pink every evening.

As the day draws to an end, indulge at their signature Breeze spa. Open-air massage salas invite the sounds of nature and the rolling waves of Patong Bay to sooth you into a deep relaxation. Combined with their extensive array of treatments and skilled therapists that leave you feeling rejuvenated and revitalised.

Once the sun goes down, dinner at La Gritta is a must. Chef Patricia brings her Rome heritage to the plate with an authentic taste of Italy. Located down by the beach front, it’s the ideal place to savour a bottle of wine and a delicious dish of spaghetti.
