The Tawny Hotel

A hotel like no other.

Spending a night tucked away in one of The Tawny’s luxury retreats was utterly enchanting.

Having grown up less than an hour from here I was surprised at the stunning surroundings that enveloped us upon arrival. A truly hidden, expansive oasis filled with lakeside gardens to stroll around, a heated outdoor pool and a ‘deconstructed hotel’ disbursed around the grounds.

Combine all of the above with your own private sanctuary in one of the many rooms with a view. You’re offered the choice of the sweetly named Wildwood huts, treehouses, romantic boathouses, the lookouts or luxury retreats to stay and play in. Each come with their own privacy and picture perfect setting. We stayed in one of the Luxury retreats which comes with a private decking and outdoor spa bath.

Maybe we’re bias because we were blessed with beautiful weather but this place is breathtaking. It’s no surprise the venue is a bride and grooms dream with weddings happening 90% of the time. It is also already booked up throughout festive season which we can only imagine will be stocking-filled with magical moments.

If you only do one more getaway this year it has to be here, it’s ready and waiting to be discovered in the heart of the English countryside. We are itching to go back!
